Welcome to the University of Manchester Careers Service
The Careers Service offers support and advice to help students make the most of their time here at The University of Manchester.
Through our work with employers and faculty and school colleagues we provide expert information, advice and guidance tailored to student and graduate needs via a range of in curriculum sessions, extracurricular events, experiential activities, schemes and 1-1 advice. Our extensive careers information website is open to all, while our careers portal CareerConnect is exclusively for UoM students and graduates to access vacancies, events appointments and more.
Our code of practice
We offer offers impartial careers education, information, advice and guidance to all students and graduates. We adhere to the AGCAS Code of Ethics and have a commitment to impartiality in careers guidance ensuring that we help students make informed decisions aligned with their ethics and values.
